6-week Bereavement Education Group offered by Visiting Nurse Services of Newport & Bristol Counties starts Wed., Oct. 6, 4:30 to 6:00 pm at United Congregational Church, 524 Valley Road, Middletown, RI.

8/1/2010 - Hospice Volunteer Training Starts Sept. 16
6-week Hospice Volunteer Training program begins Sept. 16, 9 am to 1 pm, at our Portsmouth office, 1184 East main Rd.
Hospice volunteers are important members of our Hospice team. They support patients and families by providing companionship, comfort, respite for patients and caregivers, running errands and/or preparing meals. They also help with special events and support the Hospice team behind the scenes in the office.
