GED PROGRAM
Visiting Nurse Services of Newport & Bristol Counties offers the
only GED class just for teens on Aquidneck Island and the East
Bay. Our classes are free and open to all out of school youth
16-20. Our GED classroom complies with all federal and state GED
regulations.
Teen students receive:
- A teacher who will develop an individual plan for each student
- Experiential learning designed just for teens
- Individualized Career Planning
- Youth Leadership Opportunities, Life Skills, Health Education
- Internship/Apprenticeship Opportunities
- Post graduation planning and help with college applications,
vocational training, & employment
- Our class is free to all youth 16-20
GED classes are located at Visiting Nurse Services of Newport
and Bristol Counties, 21 Chapel Street, Newport, RI and Rogers
Free Library, 525 Hope Street, Bristol, RI.
